 When an Oprah Winfrey biography discusses the life of this famous woman, it describes the Oprah Winfrey childhood experience as being extremely difficult and full of hardships. It seems that this stalwart woman has come from a background that way too many human beings can relate to. It is so sad to me that an Oprah Winfrey childhood has to be lived by any child. She did not come from a very caring family and she was very poor with few physical comforts to relieve the loneliness or discomfort. I have watched the Oprah Winfrey show when she is discussing her childhood experiences with others who have shared a similar upbringing and it is interesting to see how Oprah has grown into such an advocate of children. By discussing her Oprah Winfrey childhood experiences she has helped to open the eyes of society to the tragic circumstances that some of society's children are being raised in. Oprah has made it one of her goals to help improve the life and upbringing of as many children as she can reach. Hopefully each one of us has learned from her example and we all make an effort to make someone's childhood easier and more enjoyable to grow through. |
